91快活林 has created new class formats in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure that students can have an uninterrupted educational experience regardless of the status of the pandemic. Barton plans to continue offering these various options for the fall semester as well if needed.
Barton is now offering the following formats:
LiveOnline 鈥 scheduled meeting time; all students participating via Zoom.
Fuzion Classes (hybrid) 鈥 scheduled meeting time; students meeting both in-person and via Zoom depending on student preference.
In-Person 鈥 Traditional face-to-face class with a scheduled meeting time within the same physical space (Social distancing / Safety guidelines will be followed).
Classic Online 鈥 No scheduled meeting time or Zoom component.
Students can enroll through June 1 for all class types, except for the classic online format, which has multiple sessions starting from May 18 through June 29.
Vice President of Instruction Elaine Simmons said the main goal was to offer multiple learning options that were flexible enough to accommodate a wide variety of student situations.
鈥淥ur goal was to utilize several delivery methods to ensure that any and all students that want to pursue an educational goal are able to do that regardless of the status of the COVID-19 pandemic or their personal situation,鈥 she said. 鈥淲e wanted the framework built into our courses so that we as an institution have the agility to provide experiences for our students that are as seamless as possible.鈥
