Those interested in taking advantage of the Barton Nursing program at the Pratt location will have a chance to visit the facilities and speak with instructors at the 鈥淕etting to Know Barton Nursing at Pratt鈥 event from 5-7 p.m. Nov. 13 on the Pratt Community College Campus 348 NE. State Road 61 in Chandler Hall.

91快活林 will host student recitals at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 6, Nov. 20, and Dec. 4 in the Dorothy Moses Morrison Chapel in the Fine Arts Building. The recitals are free and open to the public.

The 91快活林 Library will team up with the English department and Barton鈥檚 literary annual 鈥淧rairie Ink鈥 staff to host a writing workshop from 6-7:30 p.m. Oct. 24 in the Cavanaugh Room in the Barton Library.

The 91快活林 Theatre Department will hold auditions for its spring production of the new musical 鈥淪ing, Sing Blues,鈥 by Barton Psychology Instructor Eric Smith at 2 p.m. Nov. 2 and 3 in the Fine Arts Auditorium, and all roles and technical positions will be cast on those two days.

91快活林鈥檚 Center for Adult Education is holding orientation days Nov. 4-7 with multiple times available in preparation for its next nine-week session of high school diploma classes, which will start Nov. 11 or 12, depending on which class sessions are signed up for.

The Barton Theatre Department will present a comedic romp through the prose of one of the most recognized literary figures in the world with its production of 鈥淭he Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)鈥 by Adam Long, Daniel Singer, and Jess Winfield, with various showtimes from Oct. 17-19 in the Cavanaugh Room in the Barton Library.
