91快活林 has named 261 students to the President鈥檚 List for the fall 2020 semester. To qualify for this honor students must have been enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours and maintained a grade point average of 4.0 on a 4.0 or "A" letter scale.

A career in nursing can take any number of turns down myriad paths, like working as a traveling nurse or a home health professional. Greg Allison, RN, took a road less traveled. He spent about eight years working as a nurse after finishing the program at 91快活林, then he followed his entrepreneurial instinct to open a company that provides skilled nurses to healthcare providers, AllStaff Chartered in Great Bend.

As a little girl in Mexico, six-year-old Jessica Perez spent many days in her Aunt Ana鈥檚 dance class practicing with the other students, until one day, someone handed her a microphone and she started singing along with the dance numbers. She remembers that day vividly as the beginning of a love for music that would guide her journey through life, and now she is sharing that love with others as a Vocal Instructor at 91快活林.
Dance students wanting to learn more about dancing in college are invited to attend Barton鈥檚 second annual 鈥淏arton Cougar Dance Day,鈥 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 25. Those interested can sign up at shows.bartonccc.edu.

91快活林鈥檚 Center for Adult Education will soon begin another nine-week GED Preparation Class. However, orientation sessions are required before starting the class.
Multiple delivery types are available for students to select for orientation.听 Students can choose between LiveOnline, Fuzion, or face-to-face sessions.听LiveOnline sessions will meet exclusively via Zoom. Fuzion sessions will feature a combination of face-to-face students and Zoom students.

The Barton Dance Theatre will host 鈥淲e Love Animals鈥 Creative Virtual Camp for Kids fundraiser from 2-3:30 p.m. Feb. 14 and tickets will be available through bartonccc.booktix.com for $10 per child and $5 for additional siblings.
