"Dancing with the Cougars" returns this year with another dance workshop for the community featuring a line dance class at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 5 in Studio 34, and all proceeds go to support Barton Dance Theatre's participation at the American College Dance Association Conference in January.
91快活林 and the Center for Adult Education will be closed and there will be no classes in observance of Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 2. Offices will reopen and classes will resume on Sept. 3.
The Barton Dance Department will host auditions for its upcoming 鈥淣utcracker for the Golden Belt鈥 production from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Aug. 31 in Studio 34 on the Barton Campus, with callbacks at 2 p.m. that afternoon.

91快活林鈥檚 16th annual Wounded Warrior Golf Scramble, which benefits wounded soldiers from Fort Riley, is set for Sept. 14.
To celebrate the start of a new academic year and new leadership, 91快活林 will host a 鈥楳eet the President鈥 event from 4:30-6 p.m. Aug. 28 at Dry Lake Brewing in Great Bend.

91快活林鈥檚 Center for Adult Education is holding orientation days Sept. 16-19 with multiple times available in preparation for its next nine-week session of high school diploma classes, which will start Sep. 23 or 24, depending on which class sessions are signed up for.
The Shafer Gallery will host an opening reception for its 鈥淎ll of the Above鈥 exhibit from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 23 in the Gallery and will feature light refreshments and a talk by artist Rachel Curtis.
