91快活林 Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) graduates had a 100 percent pass rate in 2017 on their National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) and the Registered Nurse (RN) graduates had an 88.89 percent pass rate on their licensure exams, a 44 percent increase from last year.
鈥淢y hat goes off to both the faculty and students for working hard to accomplish this,鈥 Executive Director of Nursing and Healthcare Education Dr. Kathleen Kottas said.

91快活林 is offering woodworking courses from 6-9:45 p.m. on Mondays from January 8 to March 5 at Ellsworth High School, 211 W. 11th St. in Ellsworth.
The instructor will be David Weeks. Classes of various levels will be available including Woodworking I, Woodworking II and Individual Woodworking Projects. Each course will count for three credit-hours.听The cost is $324 per class and fees for materials used.

Academics Month 2017
This story is the last of four in a series focused on some of Barton鈥檚 popular traditional academic offerings. The series was inspired by the inaugural Barton Academics Month through November.
Theatre was never a part of the plan for Jared Steele, a freshman at Barton majoring in theatre who plans on graduating Barton in May.
Great Bend Tribune
