After graduating from Barton鈥檚 Construction Tech program in just one semester, Great Bend native Brecken Carroll immediately found employment and started earning a living as part of the window installation crew at MPIRE Improvements and Overhead Door of Great Bend.

The 91快活林 Theatre Department will present an emotional yet uplifting musical, 鈥淪ing Sing Blues,鈥 written by Barton Psychology Instructor Eric Smith, with multiple showings Feb. 20-23 with general admission tickets available for $10 at the door, and the production is suitable for ages 10 and up.
91快活林 will host a blood drive from 8 a.m.- 2 p.m. Feb. 24 in the Kirkman Practice Gym. Donors will receive a $15 gift e-gift card from the American Red Cross to the merchant of their choice (to be mailed to the donor within 30 days of donation).听
Flute players and music enthusiasts will have the opportunity to listen and learn from one of the best flutists in the region as Kansas City flute player and musicologist Bryanna Beasley will present a masterclass from 3-4:30 p.m. in the Chapel in the Fine Arts Building, followed by a duet recital with Barton Guitar Instructor Aleia Gonzalez from 5-6听p.m. March 5 in the Dorothy Morrison Chapel in the Fine Arts Building.

91快活林鈥檚 Center for Adult Education is holding orientation days March 3-6 with multiple times available in preparation for its next nine-week session of high school diploma classes, which will start March 10 or 11, depending on which class sessions are signed up for.
When Great Bend High School student Trey Milsap was a youngster, he took a tour of the Great Bend Fire Station, which left him fascinated with the world of emergency response, and he is now working as a part-time firefighter for the Great Bend Fire and EMS Department all before graduating high school.
