Barton Online Student Michelle Nezolosky of New York dreams of one day being on the 鈥淭oday Show鈥 sharing all her knowledge about the good work that is being done in the field of dietetics.
91快活林 will present a Vocal Masterclass featuring Wichita State University Voice Professor Abigail Deiter at 4 p.m. March 30 in the Dorothy Moses Morrison Chapel in room F-157.
The Barton Foundation aims to enhance the Barton student experience with its 12th Annual Sporting Clay Shoot fundraiser from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. Sunday, April 24 at Camp Aldrich, 884 NE 110 Ave. in Claflin. The money raised is used for Faculty Mini-Grants, which Barton faculty members can use to purchase items for their classrooms to enhance student learning experiences. The Foundation has awarded $119,644 in mini-grants to date.
Those seeking a credential as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) have the chance to enroll in a course at no charge thanks to a generous anonymous donor and a collaboration between 91快活林, Ellsworth County Medical Center (ECMC) and Good Samaritan Retirement Center
91快活林 will have no classes during its spring break from March 14-18. Barton鈥檚 offices will remain open through March 16 but will be closed March 17 and 18. The college鈥檚 regular class schedule and business hours will resume Monday, March 21.
As of March 1, severe drought has enveloped our area. The drought level continues to increase as you head towards the northwest and especially the southwest corner of the state. This combined with the extremely mild conditions is doing wheat no favors.
