91快活林 in conjunction with the National Partnership for Environmental Technology Education (PETE) will begin offering a 10-day Hazardous Waste Worker Training Program at military installations across the country. The course is geared toward transitioning soldiers, retirees and family members at no cost.

The Barton Theatre Department will present 鈥淭he Santaland Diaries,鈥 starring Barton Theatre and Kansas State University Theatre alumnus, Great Bend resident Grady Bolding at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 3 in the Fine Arts Auditorium. Donations will be taken at the door and will go toward new equipment and materials for the theatre program. The play was adapted for the stage by Joe Mantello.

Barton Nursing student, 19-year-old Breanna Towers of St. John, started making strides toward her career during her sophomore year of high school by taking college classes online and her forward thinking made it possible to complete all her pre-requisites before she even set foot in a Barton Nursing classroom.
