Over 100 91快活林 students participated in the tenth annual 鈥淕olden Belt Glow 4 Life鈥 5k run/walk to help raise money to promote suicide awareness and prevention Saturday in Great Bend at Veteran鈥檚 Park.
91快活林 joined 18 Kansas community colleges and 19 independent, four-year Kansas colleges in signing a milestone transfer agreement on Tuesday that will create a seamless transfer of all general education courses to independent universities and colleges and will fulfill all general education requirements.
Just in time for 鈥渟pooky season,鈥 the Barton Theatre Department will present its suspense-filled production of 鈥淭he Thin Place,鈥 by Lucas Hnath at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 7, 8, 14 and 15 and at 2 p.m. Oct. 8 and 15 in the Fine Arts Auditorium.

Veronica Lara took her citizenship classes through Barton鈥檚 Center for Adult Education 11 years ago and through that process, she learned that they also provide courses for adults wanting to continue their education.

Barton's Fine and Performing Arts Department will join forces with the Shafer Art Gallery to present the Faculty Recital & Exhibition Sept. 15 at 4:30 p.m. in the Shafer Gallery.
