Local financial planner Cole Schwarz gave his oath of office and joined the 91快活林 Board of Trustees during the board鈥檚 meeting Tuesday evening.

Schwarz said he believes the college is a tremendous asset to Barton County and central Kansas.

91快活林 held its first-ever 鈥淪ummer Virtual Student Recital鈥 Friday featuring students who took advantage of the brand-new Summer Lessons program.

Summer lessons have not been offered in the past, but in light of the pandemic Barton Music Department administrators and faculty wanted to give music enthusiasts and Barton students the opportunity to take lessons on the instrument of their choice.
